Changelog

What's new

A short list of what changed in Finaim.

6 October 2026

latest

Improved

  • Links to Finaim pages shared in messengers and social networks show a picture with the page's name, its title and its description — in Russian and in English.
  • Portfolio allocation: a click on a segment of the chart opens the company card — in the optimizer and on a portfolio's page.
  • Tab and period switches: the active tab's plate slides to the one chosen.
  • Efficient frontier chart: the axis title stands clear of the ticks, and stock tickers are placed without overlapping.
  • Portfolio allocation in the optimizer: names of thin segments are written outside the ring and its handles, fully inside the card.

5 October 2026

Added

  • Plan limits are enforced on the server: rows of the model's ranking, drivers per forecast, forecast markets, holdings in the optimiser and saved portfolios. The Free plan includes the top 10 of the US ranking with two key drivers per stock, the optimiser for up to 10 holdings and one saved portfolio.
  • Pro plan: the ranking ordered by any model factor, CSV export of the ranking and its SHAP attributions, minimum and maximum weights per holding in the optimiser, priority handling of support requests.
  • A 7-day trial of the Investor plan: it starts automatically, no card required. One trial per mailbox.
  • The model's track record: a page with forecast and outcome by month — the return of the top 25 stocks, the market, the difference and how closely the forecast order matched the realised one; next to it, the model's test on history by year. The asset card shows the stock's earlier forecasts and their outcomes. Investor and Pro plans.
  • Ranking alerts: a Follow button on the asset card. A notice arrives on the site and by email when the stock enters the top 25, leaves it or moves noticeably. The list of followed stocks and the email switch are in Settings. Investor and Pro plans.
  • A model portfolio from parameters on the Portfolio page, in the "Build your portfolio" card next to the ready-made portfolios: the number of holdings, the volatility you accept and the horizon define a selection from the top of the ranking, which is passed to the optimiser. Investor and Pro plans.
  • Forecast changes on the Portfolio page: stocks that entered and left the top 25, and the largest moves up and down the ranking over the month. They open from the "?" button in the model's ranking card.
  • The AI portfolio in the community: rebuilt once a week from the 15 US stocks ranked highest by the model, in equal shares. Its value is tracked from the day it started and compared with the S&P 500 including dividends. The entry is pinned first in the feed.
  • Asset card: the checks behind each direction of the snowflake in words — the metric, its value and the assessment.
  • Asset card: an "Among comparable companies" block — P/E next to the median of the industry, the sector and the market, and yearly volatility with its decile among the market's stocks.
  • Company descriptions for US and eurozone stocks in Russian on the Russian site.
  • Profile settings: a name in Russian and a name in English. A page of the site shows the name written for its language; without one, the display name — in Latin letters on English pages.

Improved

  • Pricing: the model's track record, alerts and the model portfolio from parameters are part of the Investor plan.
  • Home page: a section on the model's forecast — the track record, alerts, the model portfolio and the AI portfolio.
  • Snowflake: the P/E of a loss-making company scores 0; dividend yield is computed from the payouts of the last 12 months and the current price.
  • Pricing page: the billing period — month or year — is chosen in the plan card, and the Pay button opens the payment for the chosen amount.
  • Portfolio: on the "Growth of capital vs S&P 500" chart the index line is drawn for any set of holdings, and the portfolio line is highlighted.
  • Portfolio page in the community: the "Portfolio performance" chart is drawn from the weights saved in the portfolio.
  • Community: a portfolio's return over one month, year to date and one year includes Moscow Exchange holdings. Each holding's return is measured in the currency it trades in.
  • The model's ranking on the Portfolio page: the choices of order by a factor are marked with the plan that includes them; the direction of the order is chosen together with the factor.
  • Russian stocks: price history is restated for share splits and consolidations from the Moscow Exchange directory — in charts, portfolio returns, one- and five-year price changes, the optimiser's inputs and the model's forecast.
  • Community: a portfolio's return over one month, year to date and one year follows the same rule as the "Portfolio performance" chart: the saved weights on the first day of the period, the period counted by the calendar. The one-year figure equals the chart's value on its last day.
  • Portfolios that hold Russian stocks: a note next to the returns and the chart says that dividends of Russian stocks are not included.
  • A plan-limit notice names the plan that includes the feature and links to the Pricing page.

24 September 2026

Added

  • Subscription payment by bank card through YooKassa, with auto-renewal.

  • Payment confirmation on return from the payment page: the plan and the date it is paid until.
  • A Pricing page and a pricing block on the home page.
  • The public offer, the personal data policy, payment and refund terms. The seller's details are in the site footer.

Improved

  • The price on the asset card is the close of the last trading session.
  • The top menu shows the user's name right after sign-in.
  • New versions of styles and scripts load without clearing the browser cache.

21 September 2026

Added

  • Descriptions of Russian issuers in Russian and English.

Improved

  • The US model is trained on the full S&P 500.
  • Portfolio optimiser: Ledoit–Wolf covariance, L2 regularisation of weights, a single holding capped at 35% unless set otherwise. The portfolio spreads across more holdings.
  • Recommended stocks after the questionnaire follow the model's current ranking.
  • The forecast for every market is computed from the last complete calendar month.
  • The forecast for MOEX stocks is hidden until the model's universe is extended.

14 September 2026

Added

  • A model forecast for eurozone stocks, with a factor breakdown.
  • Eurozone market: a "Europe (Eurozone)" tab on the Market page — 221 stocks from the DAX, CAC 40, AEX, IBEX 35, FTSE MIB, BEL 20 and OMX Helsinki 25, quotes in euros, company names and descriptions.
  • Scoring of Russian companies is checked against the EGRUL register: the tax ID is taken from the company's site, features are verified against the official extract, and "Feature sources" shows the extract's date.
  • The tax ID can be entered by hand: register data adds to the profile already built.
  • "Market potential" from search-engine data: Yandex Wordstat for Russia for Russian companies, Google Ads in the company's country for foreign ones. Search phrases are chosen in the market's language; the card shows the country and language of the measurement. Phrases without data are marked with a dash and are left out of the score.
  • A snowflake for funds, gold and bonds: return, stability, diversification, low cost and income.

Improved

  • Scoring cards fold and share one header style; starting an analysis folds the form and brings the company into view.
  • The snowflake on the asset card is a smooth shape on concentric rings.
  • The correlation heatmap fills its card, with cells sized to the number of assets.
  • Market: the page keeps its position when filters change; "All" shows rows a page at a time.
  • "My portfolio" is renamed "My assets".
  • The brand loading indicator on every page.
  • Key phrases in one case; search volume is given per month.
  • The edit-features control sits above the form, in "Feature sources".

  • Sector map: narrow cells carry short names.
  • The "in 60 seconds" headline on the home page is shown in full.
  • The portfolio metrics block appears after optimisation.

  • Portfolio cards: the portfolio type sits at the right edge.
  • The remove control in My assets is larger.

7 September 2026

  • Company logos load from a current source.
  • Small buttons have a larger tap area.

6 September 2026

  • The brand loading indicator.
  • Add-asset buttons are round and of one size.

  • Portfolio page: the portfolio type sits next to the author, "Copy" is the first action.

Fixed

  • The mobile menu fits the screen without scrolling.
  • Tickers from "Top movers" open the asset card.
